Smokin' Hot Limerick

Because I am cool like that! :-) Limerick 1: Pray, I am not Dreaming of Quiet Places , All I think of is booties and untied laces, And cleaning the mess of the food off their faces, My body every cycle embraces, Perpetually yearning for fruitful graces. Limerick 2: Two Lines, Two Lines - Pink or Blue If you do not happen soon, I will have to use some glue. And if that still not be mine, I think I will Pamela -ine. The Limerick Chick Contest is being organized by Lori and it got my creative snoozle flowing...I hope you like it. And oh, here is a spurrcial request that has come in from Kittycat. (Vote for Wiseguy, will ya?) Kittycat also asked me to post this: Enter by March 1. Vote after March 2. January Pearls

I want to share the verbal pearls that make it a hay day for any infertile....all received by yours truly in the first crudder of 2010. You didn't think I would have spared you...did you? " Add sprouts to your diet ." (Aha! ...the germination principle, I suppose?) " She should have an antidepressantpillbrandname mid-cycle ." (That's the latest thing in addictions really....prescription drugs...wow...imagine the possibilities!!!) " She and DH should go out every weekend. Go away from the city. Spend time with each other ." (It is correct. I tend to ovulate every weekend.) Now that the knowledge-sharing is done, I would like to take a while and do the big reveal . It had been guessed well by a bright one . Enjoy! ^WiseGuy^

Saving Private Witchin'

A friend ( as in a really close friend ) recently revealed to me her plans for trying for kid #2. She asked me to get ready for good news soon enough. She got married in 2005 ( almost two years after me ). She had thyroid issues and yet managed to deliver her first in January 2008. She was diagnosed with PCOS after that. I wonder how quickly she would be able to successfully leap over that medical condition as well. It’s like running a 200 metre hurdle sprint, where one injured horse is painfully still making its way to the start line, and the other injured horse has already covered 100 metres and it is but obvious as to which of the horses may win. In these past three days, I have managed to also come to know of a 16 week mark touched by a mildly-non-favourite-ex-colleague of mine. As I process more and more and more pregnancies, it feels like the angel in me is receding. I am also aware of how differently I can treat pregnancies of friends and uh-foes. If I do not reveal my insecurit...

CD Who?

No, I do not remember what CD it is today. I won't be spontaneously doing the arithmetic anytime soon (hopefully). That device has suspended operation till the next come-awake snooze call. And it feels kind of liberating, you know.... ^WiseGuy^

Friday Photo Challenge #3: Celebration

Celebration calls for music... ...and light... ...and food... ...but most importantly, a happy heart! The Friday Photo Challenge is being hosted by The Steadfast Warrior . Go check her out for the details. ^WiseGuy^

Missing Persons

I was proofreading a colleague's thesis yesterday. In her acknowledgement, she mentioned her sweet angel, her daughter, and thanked her for being so patient with her mother in all the time she was doing her research. Hmmmm... Nopes, I will have to completely skip that mention. My kids are missing from real life. ^WiseGuy^
