CornerOfIncense

I am not deeply ritualistic. But I often pray, as in conversation-style pray, and I found myself talking about certain people, or saying things to 'God', and some of those people were people here in the blogosphere.

I mostly light two incense sticks every morning at a fixed place in my house, and thanks to a brainwave this year, I started dedicating the second stick to whatever/whoever it was in my mind. And I found it made me happy or peaceful.

I intend to document it here. None of the people mentioned here asked for it. I am sure they do not even know it.

January - June 2013

1. Baby J - His arrival set off the brainwave in me. He happens to be the miracle child of an ex-blogger who has come to his parents after terrible heartache. He made me so happy that I lit an incense stick that day for him (when I came to know he had arrived safely).

2. Axel -  I read about him and what happened through Josey. In the post his mum has written, there is a picture of him on a Mexican beach. That pic was on my mind even after I pressed [x] on the tab. He stayed in my mind. Next morning, I dedicated an incense in his name.

3. Vic - Kristin's husband underwent gastric bypass recently. It was meant to end his medical issues, and well Kristin, the un-caped hero that she is, was very brave in dealing with all the physical, mental and emotional facets that the surgery brought. I prayed for him to get out of the surgery safely, and that the surgery would bring on all the positives that were intended from it.

July - December 2013

4. Mo - Dedication for the safe arrival of her precious baby girl.

July - December 2015

5. Pundelina - Dedication for her full recovery from Breast Cancer. I am glad it was caught 'early'. I am not happy about the pain that goes into dealing with the beast.

6. DH

7. Stacie's Mother - Dedication for her full recovery from the Hodgkins Lymphoma

8. Baby J's Sister - An ex-blogger is pregnant with a miracle sibling for Baby J (see, January-June 2013 for reference), and the baby girl is expected to be born next year. May she be born healthy, and on time.

January - June 2017

9. Jointly lit for Stacie's mother who recently passed away and for the safe arrival of rainbow baby of an ex-blogger and friend.

Season...

With very limited time and access to the netz, I just want to declare that Lady Season is here. She arrived last Wednesday, and I will someday in future speak of how due to SuperPed's preparedness a crisis was averted. I tend to have firework endings. Her with me, and my first chance of mothering is like a spray of cold water on my face. I am very sleep deprived. Apparently, wise birds said to me that I should sleep when the girl sleeps, but so far my body schedule and kid's schedule are haywire. I hope to be better adapted to this soon. It is tough for me to find net time as of now, and there are a couple of things I want to post online, since CBub's dates also passed by recently, but so far it does not seem to be happening. And I just want to say thanks. Even though I am craptastic at responding, I am reading off and on as I can manage.
