Moscow Calling

April 8, 2014: AF due. Pinkish spotting in late noon, and then nothing.

April 17, 2014: One sac seen; doctor dubious on the other details.

April 24, 2014: We are back in the game! It's 6w1d by my calculation, and Baby M is 6w3d on the machine. Cardiac Activity present - FHR - 120 bpm; CRL - .55 cms.

(6w1d  - Mirror Mirror on the wall; I am the slimmest of them all.)

(8w1d  - Real women don't clean mirrors.)

May 10, 2014:  M is measuring 9w1d. How did I miss an entire week (in my mind I was 8 weeks plus)? FHR - 177 bpm; CRL - 2.4 cms. My BP is lower this time: 100/60.

June 07, 2014:  M measures 13w1d at 13w1d [:-)]. Placenta is fundal. Advised to get some bloodwork done. Nuchal fold ultrasound rolls smooth. It's all good.

July 12, 2014:  Anomaly Scan at the Locodoc; things are fine with the kid. I have lost weight since the last weigh-in; BP: 120/70.

July 29, 2014:  CBC #2. Hemoglobin dipped further... WBC up...and Thyroid function normal. 

July 30, 2014:  First perceived Braxton-Hicks. I am 20w5d.

August 11, 2014:  No ultrasound; Gain of 200 gms since the last weigh-in for me; BP: 120/70. Diet, and possibility of iron shots discussed.

August 27, 2014:  CBC #3, Hemoglobin up by .1 units, which is awesome-not. WBC count normal. 

September 06, 2014:  Consult with SuperGyn; Blood Tests including GTT.

September 08, 2014:  Target Scan and Doppler.

October 04, 2014:  Last Vit.cofol injection done, total - 5, every Saturday.

October 06, 2014:  Doppler done; baby is 1475 gms, and I weigh less than what I weighed at 13 weeks. I do feel heavy though.

October 07, 2014:  GLT #2; Repeat CBC. Hb sucks. Parenteral Iron therapy in the offing.

October 14, 2014:  Parenteral Iron therapy Shot I. (Remaining Shots - 16/10, 18/10, 20/10, 22/10)

October 22, 2014:  Parenteral Iron therapy Shot V; Injection for lung maturity done, and repeated the next day; Also decided a tentative date for M's eviction.

October 27, 2014: Doppler done; M is 2245 gms; no loop of cord. Good news! CBC #5. Hemoglobin up to 10.1....it was hanging close to 8 before...thank you, infusions.

October 31, 2014: 34 weeks, Last Aspirin; I should dance every time we are done with a med for good.

November 3, 2014: CTG #1; Things are fine. Date of eviction stays put. 

November 6, 2014: Doppler done; M is 2419 gms; single loop of cord around the neck; M is head-down. My BP is 120/80. Date of eviction set in a narrow range.

November 8, 2014: (Adhoc) CTG #2, There was a 'red flag' change in movement on November 7; kept tracking baby's heart rate with the doppler at home, and rushed to the clinic in the morning. CTG revealed variations, and colour doppler was advised.

November 8, 2014: Doppler done same afternoon; M is well, and proving my kids like to have fun at my expense.

November 10, 2014: CTG #3; All well!

November 13, 2014: CTG #4; Reactive.

November 15, 2014: Doppler; No cord around the neck. M is 2.8 kg.

Season...

With very limited time and access to the netz, I just want to declare that Lady Season is here. She arrived last Wednesday, and I will someday in future speak of how due to SuperPed's preparedness a crisis was averted. I tend to have firework endings. Her with me, and my first chance of mothering is like a spray of cold water on my face. I am very sleep deprived. Apparently, wise birds said to me that I should sleep when the girl sleeps, but so far my body schedule and kid's schedule are haywire. I hope to be better adapted to this soon. It is tough for me to find net time as of now, and there are a couple of things I want to post online, since CBub's dates also passed by recently, but so far it does not seem to be happening. And I just want to say thanks. Even though I am craptastic at responding, I am reading off and on as I can manage.
