It is true. I will never finally leave the blog without saying so, unless something exceptional happens.
It's been momentous and turbulent so far.
Feb was my last working month. I spent March with kids at home, and was able to give undivided attention to Figlia who had her final examinations then. So did M. He has improved writing-wise, but is still a long way from getting comfortable with the writing bit. Also, in one of his papers, as his teacher showed me, he refused to complete a page of his worksheet, even though he knew it, because 'he did not feel like writing anymore'.
It was in March-end that kids and I shifted here to our home city. April was admission time, and we are in May now.
Kids do have school enrolments now, but I did not get the desired school. The schools I wanted were either too expensive, or had no seats for my children. So we settled for another school, more on its potential than the actuals. Let us see, how well that goes.
I still don't have a job. That is one lump in my throat. Where I was earlier, had very limited options but I was at a reasonably good institution and had a reasonably okay compensation. I now have landed in a bigger city (even distance wise, everything is just far off from every other place), but it has too many poorly paying institutions. I can fall down, but I don't want to. There is a mental range, and I would like to fall in the range.
That is what I have right now. There are other problems right now. Our loan repayment for the land we purchased has started (and savings are paying for it), DH lacks clarity as of now about what he wants to do, and so on.
That all sounds rather stressful. I hope you find a satisfactory job, and DH figures out what he wants. M sounds like he is just as stubborn as Figlia - strong-willed children turn out to be capable adults, in most cases. But you have to get them there without having your head explode! Good luck with the new situation - I know it will work out well!
