Viral

Both Figlia and M are on the mend from a bout of viral that seems to have crossed almost every house in this area. Figlia is doing better than M, because though M is better he continues to be clingy and irritable. Plus, he says no to solid food most of the time, preferring milk.

M continues with his sleep aversion. Actually, let me amend that. He sleeps when he does, but refuses to close his eyes before midnight, no matter how long his noon nap was.

DH will be taking a short trip out of town this week.

Gracy returned to work yesterday, after almost two months off (she met with an accident).

In a (wow-worthy) first, Figlia gave M a bath yesterday! She who is not yet 5, and he who is not yet 2, are such a team when they are getting along!

  1. Awww! It must have been the sweetest thing to watch Figlia give M a bath! I hope they're both feeling better soon.

I hope M learns how to go to sleep earlier. Whenever my girl was having trouble going to sleep, I would just keep putting her to bed earlier and earlier - she would get something like sleep anxiety or something because she was overtired, and the only cure was an earlier bedtime. Once I would break the non-sleeping cycle, she would get back on track.

I Should Have Known

Season...

With very limited time and access to the netz, I just want to declare that Lady Season is here. She arrived last Wednesday, and I will someday in future speak of how due to SuperPed's preparedness a crisis was averted. I tend to have firework endings. Her with me, and my first chance of mothering is like a spray of cold water on my face. I am very sleep deprived. Apparently, wise birds said to me that I should sleep when the girl sleeps, but so far my body schedule and kid's schedule are haywire. I hope to be better adapted to this soon. It is tough for me to find net time as of now, and there are a couple of things I want to post online, since CBub's dates also passed by recently, but so far it does not seem to be happening. And I just want to say thanks. Even though I am craptastic at responding, I am reading off and on as I can manage.
