Photographs. March Pattern. Lack of Title.

I dislike being photographed. It isn't something that comes to me unconsciously.

I do not consider myself photogenic, and I tend to stand in for the snaps on deliberate design rather than for the joy of it. The camera does not love me.

And as has been the case recently, I have awful dark circles. I have had them for years now. They keep getting lighter or staying depending on the amount of rest I am getting, but they never disappear.

I hate my dark circles.

However, my dislike for being photographed has begun to show in other ways. There is a 15 to 200 ratio of the number of pics where I am there with any/all of my children versus the presence of someone else with the kids. There just are not as many pics of me with them.

I have had a series of health issues recently. Starting from that weird allergy/rash, to periods that were a week early, to general stress and gloom, to an infection of some other area, there appears to be a trail of medicine wrappers I am leaving behind.

And I realized that there is something about March that perhaps makes me gloomy. I had uber-blues last year as well.

I have no idea on this one. I am going to be watchful next year.

No nanny yet. And DH is telling me that I could increase my search net if I would just consider someone who can come and go every day rather than looking for someone who can stay 24 hours with us.

My problems are two - such a person would have a time table of her own, making me wonder if she would show up or not every day, and whether on time or not.; once I downgrade my search criteria, it will be tough to upgrade it again.

Comments

  1. I don't appear in many photos either. :(

I hope you can find a nanny, but could you engage daily help temporarily while you continue the search?

  2. I had the same issue with a lack of photos of me. I made a pointed effort to make sure I was in more pictures after I noticed my mom was missing from all of my childhood pictures. It made me sad. So, I always have to take at least some pictures of me (and my husband) with the boys every time the camera is out, even if they are selfies with the boys.

If you find a cure for under eye circles, please share. Iz got em, too. Sigh.

Hope you find a nanny soon. Hugs.

Season...

With very limited time and access to the netz, I just want to declare that Lady Season is here. She arrived last Wednesday, and I will someday in future speak of how due to SuperPed's preparedness a crisis was averted. I tend to have firework endings. Her with me, and my first chance of mothering is like a spray of cold water on my face. I am very sleep deprived. Apparently, wise birds said to me that I should sleep when the girl sleeps, but so far my body schedule and kid's schedule are haywire. I hope to be better adapted to this soon. It is tough for me to find net time as of now, and there are a couple of things I want to post online, since CBub's dates also passed by recently, but so far it does not seem to be happening. And I just want to say thanks. Even though I am craptastic at responding, I am reading off and on as I can manage.
