Figzy threw a massive tantrum the day of M's naming ceremony.
It was not due to the baby, but slightly different reason. I have forgotten that I am raising a girl who is now becoming more and more conscious of her own looks and people around her.
Figzy wore a cute dress, but my (older) niece wore an ethnic dress, and well the fit was thrown because Figzy wanted a dress just like that at that very point. I had neither the dress nor the option of acquiring one quickly. I had a change of dress for Figzy for a just-in-case situation, but my girl wanted none of it. The whining and crying continued and my niece gracefully decided on her own to change into a nice T-shirt and leggings. The temperature came down immediately.
Wow! I have never experienced such a thing from Figzy. I was hugely appreciative of my niece, and I will have to pay more attention to what to make F wear for such gatherings.

M's appetite has been growing by leaps and bounds. Last Tuesday was his first immunization.
This time around, I supplemented my feeding with formula, and things have been so much better. He is able to feel full, and I feel rested.
With Figzy, there had come a time when I felt that I would never be able to keep her down, and that she was always hungry. I have been able to skip that feeling by regular supplementing.
Supplementing is a savior to your peace of mind! Glad to hear that M is doing what he's supposed to do - eat and grow.
ReplyDeleteFigzy is hilarious - she's going to rule the world one day. And isn't it nice when older nieces and nephews do kind things to accommodate your children? It really makes you appreciate them.
Yikes about Figzy. V has started to pay attention to what he wears, if he doesn't want a shirt I picked out on he'll take it off immediately, but no tantrums so far. Independence can be awesome, but also challenging! Sorry she had the epic tantrum that day. That was really great of your niece.
ReplyDeleteI am glad M is growing well and you are getting some rest!
