Figzy is refusing to go pee in the bathroom at home, even though she is doing it successfully in daycare. I wouldn't have been flustered, if she hadn't behaved otherwise before. We had become champs in the pee department at home, even if we hadn't aced potty schedule.

Not only are now my living room, kitchen and other places being regularly sanctified by her 'water' but we have had a spate of night accidents too. It's rainy season here, and maybe that has made the difference, but we had it nailed down before.

And no, in case that's what you think, she isn't having a lot of fluid right before bedtime. She has had night accidents even when our sofa has been wetted right before she went to bed.

  2. I probably caused years of future therapy when I told mine that if he can't use the potty, he'll have to wear pull-ups again. I bought some and had them at the ready and in plain sight. Amazingly, the accidents stopped just like that. Sigh.

Kids know how to push our buttons, don't they?

  3. You've got your hands full with that one! :) Sounds like she's amusing herself at your expense. Have you tried bribery? That's my favorite motivational tool.

  4. she might be feeling you're pregnant, that something is changing. I read that sibling arrival often causes potty training regression - that's why we didn't even bother starting with potty training until well after Zachary's birth...

  5. I agree with A. You really have got your hands full with this one. :-)
Best of luck to fair these dubious waters! (Pun intended :-p)
