Dear Diary,
I have a lingering bad taste in my mouth, highly unusual. And there is a disturbance in my bowel movements.
I purchased a HPT on the way home, and could hardly wait to pee.
I peed, and there was a bright shiny single line.
It's normal to keep checking the darned thing every few minutes to see if there be another line, right? I mean they have not designed the thing to shine only when held at a certain angle, right?
Still checking.

Miraculously, there is no second line that has sprung up overnight.

I chewed mints through the day. I noticed that I had heartburn too.
Hmmm....the witch is away, and I feel fatigued. Umm...hmmm.

Dear Diary,
I just clocked a first today. I tested while at office. It's the same.
My bad taste has disappeared, but I have heartburn.
I had a blood draw in the evening for a beta test. Two negative pregnancy tests can just be a rare coincidence, right? Or the hcg level is too low for the tests.
But I am already prepping myself for a negative test. I mean I would be shocked more to see some value come up there.

Dear Diary,
The witch is away. I went to collect the report in the evening. I had held-in my mind firmly till the point of showing the receipt and asking for the report, but I could just not stop myself from peering when the lady was printing my results. Thankfully, I could not see it when the paper was spewed from the printer.
It is negative. For a few perceptible seconds, I can feel the warmth on my face. I feel my fingertips are a little colder than from a few seconds ago. It's nice my heartburn went away yesterday.
I pray and I pray that my periods come soon so that I would not be be CD1 or CD2 when I am travelling alone with Figlia.

The witch came today morning.
Rise and Shine, it is CD1.
Which means, Ladies and Gentlemen, tomorrow will be CD2 - the devil day of my periods, and I will be travelling.
