Come Out Come Out wherever you are,
You send those crazy clouds of thunder and light,
And there is drooling and fussiness and biting;
And since Sunday you again are.
Do you wear watches or time pieces
Or do clocks shine on your head
For you strike right in the evening,
On my frazzled nerves.
Come out Come out wherever you are!
And I have felt your first prickly appearance
Yesterday.
My finger couldn't believe itself
When it felt a tiny point jutting out of a gum;
Come out Come out wherever you are
Daughter won't let her mouth open long enough
for a satisfying inspection.
So, just come out come out wherever you are.
Ah, yes. Teething. I feel for you.
ReplyDeleteMany hugs.
Fun times! Hope it goes quickly.
ReplyDeleteAh, teething! Hope the fussiness doesn't last too long.
