quelle horreur

I bled and then bled some more last night. Just imagine a broken faucet.

It took two pills, including one to kill the cramping/pain, three change of napkins, spoiled clothes and spoiled bedsheets to achieve the grossed-out, fed-up me.

It's the same every time...just the same. It was the same last time. Some menstrual rite of passage before normal resumes.

It's the same this time too.

I ended up crying a wee bit in the morning hours. I could not sleep, just hoping that the morning/daylight could be here please already. I should rather have starred in some zombie/vampire flick where the hapless protagonists wait for the dawn to break so that the zombies/vampires lose their power/go to sleep/blah blah blah.

Dear body of mine, we can cut out the menstrual fireworks already. It is okay to just slip into mode normal. Just do it.

  1. So sorry. That really sucks. Must be exhausting. *hug*

  2. This is awful! I hope it goes away soon. Your uterus is taking the entire "functioning" thing a bit too far.

  3. I'm so sorry this is happening again. And when anything goes wrong in the late watches of the night, it always feels 1000 times harder and more intense than if it happened in the daylight.

    Hang in there... ((hugs))

  9. Sounds very unpleasant. As I'm reading this late, for a change (ha!) I'm hoping all the unpleasantness has passed and you are feeling lovely.

I Should Have Known

...On the night of 19th when my breasts became hard and sore to touch, the nurses brought me hot water bottles rather than my baby. Season...

With very limited time and access to the netz, I just want to declare that Lady Season is here. She arrived last Wednesday, and I will someday in future speak of how due to SuperPed's preparedness a crisis was averted. I tend to have firework endings. Her with me, and my first chance of mothering is like a spray of cold water on my face. I am very sleep deprived. Apparently, wise birds said to me that I should sleep when the girl sleeps, but so far my body schedule and kid's schedule are haywire. I hope to be better adapted to this soon. It is tough for me to find net time as of now, and there are a couple of things I want to post online, since CBub's dates also passed by recently, but so far it does not seem to be happening. And I just want to say thanks. Even though I am craptastic at responding, I am reading off and on as I can manage.
