Maybe it will help to spell it down

# 1. People have begun asking me when I am due.

I know my EDD, but I tend to answer the question with beginning of January. I don't want to lie, but if Season comes early, I don't want people to have a prejudiced notion that in case Season needs NICU and all that, it is because of prematurity.

I want him/her to be considered a normal child with the usual things being expected of him/her rather than people forming a first impression of him/her through the preemie status. I can't have another PDA equals to hole-in-the-heart, and hence ooh-severely-complicated layman interpretation of whatever is going on with this child.

# 2. I still have modest aspirations that I will see atleast 35 weeks of pregnancy, and go on to 36 weeks gestation ideally. Ideally.

But I know that when the time comes and if it is not what I am mentally comfortable with, I will respect SuperGyn's decision and will trust her to bring this baby out as safely as possible.

  1. It doesn't matter what the others are thinking. People are people and always be, passing uncalled for judgments, talking nonsense, and so on. Ignore them.
What matters is what your doctors think and do to make sure Season comes when is the time and stays healthy and thriving.
    Praying that everything goes smoothly.
    Thinking of you.

  2. There is nothing easy about your situation. Tell people what you think is best, what you would like to tell them. Holding you and Season (and CheekyBub) close.

  3. You don't owe people anything. Tell them whatever you're comfortable with!

  4. I agree with the other commenters, tell them whatever you're comfortable with. That's all that really matters.

  5. I know...if we manage another babe, 35 weeks will be my goal...I find that strange...

  6. Your doing great! People ask all kinds of stuff, you know my situation, and I have had all kinds of crazy questions, I tell them what ever I want to and not a sentence more! No need for details :).

  8. You can tell people as much or as little as you like. You can tell them the truth or you can tell them whatever you feel like telling them. That's the power of being the pregnant lady - you're in charge of the information!

  9. Thinking about you as Season's delivery approaches. Praying for a healthy baby and healthy momma.

I Should Have Known

...On the night of 19th when my breasts became hard and sore to touch, the nurses brought me hot water bottles rather than my baby. Season...

With very limited time and access to the netz, I just want to declare that Lady Season is here. She arrived last Wednesday, and I will someday in future speak of how due to SuperPed's preparedness a crisis was averted. I tend to have firework endings. Her with me, and my first chance of mothering is like a spray of cold water on my face. I am very sleep deprived. Apparently, wise birds said to me that I should sleep when the girl sleeps, but so far my body schedule and kid's schedule are haywire. I hope to be better adapted to this soon. It is tough for me to find net time as of now, and there are a couple of things I want to post online, since CBub's dates also passed by recently, but so far it does not seem to be happening. And I just want to say thanks. Even though I am craptastic at responding, I am reading off and on as I can manage.
