Fetal ECG. Movements. Theziz.

My Fetal ECG was preponed to Week 21, and it was done on Thursday afternoon. I was more worried about this one than the Anomaly Scan. The baby's heart is fine.

For almost this entire last week, the baby changed its movement pattern significantly. The baby is quiet in the evening, and the only time I felt a good go at my inner regions was in the morning after I woke up.

My theory was that the baby was probably awake all night and went off to sleep during daytime while I was doing my random business. Apparently, even this new play broke as a pattern during the ECG. The baby managed to kick right on those spots where the wand was moving on my tummy. Sonologist was smiling and telling me that the baby was moving a lot. Of course, I knew. I could feel the baby go bam-bam.

Maybe the baby heard my talk about the changed movements to SuperGyn. I am sure that is the only reason baby's back to the usual again.

The scuttled pattern had worried me a lot. I tried to poke and poke one night this week to make the baby do something. The bebe is such a smart cookie, that he/she refused to react. Finally, out came my doppler, and it was only the reading of 145 bpm and the sound of galloping horses that made me feel a little bit of peace again.

This week was eventful also because finnnnnaaaallllly finally my thesis was submitted. I was very close to finishing the deal in June, but because I and my guide were unable to match 'time', it got delayed. I was so hoping that it would happen that time, but it didn't. I really thought it was the best time.

We just keep waiting for the right time, and decide on a right moment to do something, and when the event occurs, the timing becomes okay on its own.

Happy to hear that all is fine. And the thesis - that is a piece of cake now, isn't it? Once submitted, the balls gets rolling and the end is nearer.

  8. Ahhh so happy all is well. You know, it may just be a little early to always feel her move. But course I completely share the unspeakable fear and many time I too resorted to the friendly doppler (always with my heart audible to my ears for the fear of the what if). I remember reading about the fact that many women seemed to find it difficult to sleep as the baby kicked all night...I NEVER once was woken up by kicks, and decided to believe that my baby new the difference between day and night! Love, Fran

Season...

With very limited time and access to the netz, I just want to declare that Lady Season is here. She arrived last Wednesday, and I will someday in future speak of how due to SuperPed's preparedness a crisis was averted. I tend to have firework endings. Her with me, and my first chance of mothering is like a spray of cold water on my face. I am very sleep deprived. Apparently, wise birds said to me that I should sleep when the girl sleeps, but so far my body schedule and kid's schedule are haywire. I hope to be better adapted to this soon. It is tough for me to find net time as of now, and there are a couple of things I want to post online, since CBub's dates also passed by recently, but so far it does not seem to be happening. And I just want to say thanks. Even though I am craptastic at responding, I am reading off and on as I can manage.
