In My Dreams

As a teenager I once solved a maths problem in my dream. I had been working on it a little before dinner time. After I slept, my mind kept working on the problem and I figured out the solution in my dream. I woke up next day and tried what I saw in the dream and voila, the solution held true!

That means I truly had the trapping of a great mad mathematician, barring that I managed to fail every Maths test except for the finals and that was the only one time I solved a maths problem in my sleep. Plus, dreaming about numbers was really not my best thought for a dream.

Anyways, Monday night I woke up mid-sleep to relieve myself. After that, I had a tiny problem in regaining the sound sleep I was enjoying prior to leaving my bed. And in that half-sleep, half-awake state, there were delicious visions of the baby I was having.

I realized that these were the few nights where I shared the bedroom alone with Birdman. I plan to have Kaiser sleep with us (in the same room, though not in the same bed, if I can help it). It would make monitoring, cuddling and midnight feeding easier.

I also had visions of a blanket wrapped baby enjoying a dinner with the parents at some of our favourite restaurants here. It is amazing, that the kid was living through a panorama of different restaurants where the parents were eating meals in all those places. I also imagined a colleague seeing us with the baby in the restaurant.

I also wondered how long we will like to station Kaiser in the bedroom and when would we want to shift the baby to another room.

We live in a three-bedroom flat, and as is the norm I am fixated on giving room X to Kaiser while Birdman is hung on giving room Y. Who would win? All of that was reeling in my dreams...and I wondered if I was thinking too far ahead.

It was in this whole mental chomping that I went back to sleep. Yes, in my dreams, my overactive mind masticates, runs amok and takes me ahead or way back.

  5. ahhh pregnancy dreams. although, it sounds like you are like me....bizarre dreams all the time. I have, on occasion, had prophetic dreams. Unfortunately not about ANYTHING important. My baby dreams always have to do with miscarrying or delivery day...nothing real future....gotta love our subconscious :)

Season...

With very limited time and access to the netz, I just want to declare that Lady Season is here. She arrived last Wednesday, and I will someday in future speak of how due to SuperPed's preparedness a crisis was averted. I tend to have firework endings. Her with me, and my first chance of mothering is like a spray of cold water on my face. I am very sleep deprived. Apparently, wise birds said to me that I should sleep when the girl sleeps, but so far my body schedule and kid's schedule are haywire. I hope to be better adapted to this soon. It is tough for me to find net time as of now, and there are a couple of things I want to post online, since CBub's dates also passed by recently, but so far it does not seem to be happening. And I just want to say thanks. Even though I am craptastic at responding, I am reading off and on as I can manage.
