Pregnalina

In case you haven't noticed it yet, I suddenly have nothing to say.

I find myself doing something that a lot of ALI bloggers seem to abhor - the tendency to only write pregnancy details post-BFP. I seriously don't have any more fountains shooting from my brain.

I am still in awe of myself, and my body. I always wanted to, but did not really expect for plain sex to do the trick.

My pregnancy is not a fruit of 'Just Relax', as I will like to point out in some other post. And when I read Barb's news, it hit me about how short-lived this can be. I am trying to be very positive. (If you haven't been there already, please do so now....I hurt for her.)

My symptoms continue as usual. Fatigue disappeared for two short days early this week, but is back in full glory. And yes, I do sleep in my office . *he he he* (My cabin is at the absolute end of a long series of cabins and that grants me some privacy.)

Off to get some housework done now...with all the precautions, I have managed to gloriously let my house look like an abandoned barn/bachelor pad-ish dusty town!

  1. deliriously happy for you.

i'm reminded every day of how fleeting this joy is. even now, it could all disappear in an instant.

  2. Perhaps you'll also notice that the less you post, the more your traffic goes up. ;-)) My F5 finger is developing carpal tunnel. ;-p

It's understandable to be overwhelmed by the current situation and to only be able to talk about IT. It is YOUR blog after all so you have all the reasons to let Kaiser and his home hog all the attention. I, for one, am eager to know all about it, no matter how small. (I'll stop here, otherwise I'll hear someone say 'get a room'...)

And your sleeping in the office reminds me of my cat. He is so very fond of the 'office chair' that I always say that he would have been a successful civil servant anywhere in the world, had the administration chosen to employ smart AND funny individuals. ;-)

  3. I have the impression that pregnancy pretty much takes over one's mind and body, so it is really understanding to me that you would be struggling to post. And it's such a huge change, so I imagine you're still figuring everything out. So happy for you.

  4. Your Chinese friend is back.

I know what you mean about the lack of blogging. I just can't find the words...or the energy to pull the words out of my brain and through the keyboard.

  5. I know what you mean! I promised myself I wouldn't become one of 'those bloggers' who only posted once a week with a pregnancy update. But look at what's happened to me.

You can only do what you can do, and you know what? Being pregnant is a pretty big fat hairy deal... it can't be helped if it dominates your posts. It's dominating your life right now. :)

btw... I just got your email (literally just a second ago). LOL... yes, by all means!

  8. Nobody "expects" anything from you, love. Write what you want too and don't write what you don't want to write about. We're ALL here for you.

Sending all three of you TONS of love!
