...have I come?
Have travelled through two landmarks, and yet I am still not seeing the light.
On this day, in 2008, I carved out a new blog, separate in content from my flagship blog. I made my first post on this blog and the title of the post was "In the Groove Again...". That post read:

Yeah Yeah.... I have been undergoing the ovulation study for this cycle and will be travelling to City I to see if this one gets fructified. My sonologist is not available tomorrow, so I can't take any chances. The left ovary has one follicle that is at 17...it would supposedly erupt anytime.... I hate this thing. This cycle, an IUI is being planned. So, first the artifical means of getting pregnant and then waiting for the periods and the depression of bleeding through. For me, it is not the possibility of not having children that is scary, but the thought of being incapable of it that is scarier.
Will see what comes through....

I lived through whatever came through. That cycle was a BFN, and so was every other cycle. If King Bruce's spider had fallen that many number of times, would he still have climbed back again?
It is my second blogsoversary today. Can't really think of what to make of it.

Happy blogoversary, for what is worth.
ReplyDeleteI am sad you had to make this hard journey to where you are now and and yet you are not where you yearn to and should be. I truly hope that this changes soon for the better, of course... I really don't know how to tell you that I am thinking of you and wish from the bottom of my heart that you get your heart's desire.
The anniversaries that we don't particularly want to celebrate are somehow marked anyway.
ReplyDeleteOne day, one fine day we will all celebrate something good with you.
xxx
I think you need a Trail Name...
ReplyDeleteHappy blogoversary WiseGuy ((hugs)) I wish this was a different kind of special day for you.
ReplyDeletewell... happy blogoversary, although blogoversaries are not exactly what we if'ers are wishing for, i hope you get your bfp soon, it's just not fair that you haven't yet.
ReplyDeleteYou're still standing--that's what counts.
ReplyDelete"Happy" Blogoversary. I am praying that the answers come to you soon (in the form of a beautiful baby)!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary! I'm thrilled you are blogging but it saddens me that you still are having to reach for the dream instead of living it. I can't wait until I get to celebrate that moment with you.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogoversary, it's something to be proud of xxx
ReplyDeleteI am glad you have continued to write for two years, though you still in the midst of your IF battle. I wish you many more years of blogging and I hope you find yourself blogging about something entirely different on your third anniversary.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad you're in my blogoverse. I agree with Jamie about what I'd like to see for your third blogoversary (along with all your other supporters).
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping :-)
Happy blogoversary--even if the milestone is bittersweet upon reflection.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogoversary sweetie- even if it can be bittersweet. To be honest, I don't even know when mine is... but I know with each passing year, which each new step I take, it does get a little more difficult knowing that it is yet another year. Thinking of you hun (*hugs*)
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary!

Happy Blogoversary. I hope the next year brings you exciting new things to blog about.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogoversary.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's bittersweet.
BUT you are so strong.
As always, wishing, hoping, and praying for you...
Happy (belated) blogoversary. I know these milestones are often a reminder of what isn't, but I am celebrating what "is" (an amazing YOU) and hoping for even more by next year.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogoversary. You were one of the first ALI blogs I started reading. Our similar circumstances (at the time) got me in the door, your amazing writing has kept me coming back, and coming back, and coming back for more. I'm so glad you're writing.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary - I know it's not something you want to be celebrating. But I am so glad you are here. Truly truly I wish that you get the news you deserve soon and keep on blogging xx
ReplyDeleteYou have come a long way and although it doesn't feel like you have anything to show for it, you do! You have us here hanging on your every word and cheering you on. We want this for you too and its awesome that we get to share your journey. I know it sucks to be here though, believe me, I KNOW, but we are here and at least we are not alone. Thats what I keep telling myself. Happy blogoversary.
