Show and Tell: Surprise!

Well, what marks the end of a crappy day at work and the beginning of a weekend that is going to be good? What makes the cut as ‘Wow!’?

A surprise package!!!

I was making my way up the stairs of the apartment with my hands full with stuff, when the watchman said, “Ma’m, this came for you.” Go on boy…I am about to fall under the weight of all this, and you can please keep something else too over everything.

But I looked at the package and knew it was different. Nobody wanted me to have any exciting offers to ponder on or new schemes or new gold purchase capers or entry into schools we were not anyways interested in.

I made it to inside the house and immediately picked up the package. I read the name of the sender on the envelope. It did not mean anything to me.

I opened the package and a card fell out.

Thank You Sassycupcakes! It was her. She had sent me that package! She made my day.

And oh, the soap smells so delicious that I am tempted to gulp it down in giant quantities. Mmmm…

Thank You so much!!! And the circle time continues here.

  2. Oh how sweet! I absolutely love getting surprise packages in the mail. Sometimes I order things from amazon.com and then purposefully forget about it so I'm surprised.

    Glad it made your day!

Season...

With very limited time and access to the netz, I just want to declare that Lady Season is here. She arrived last Wednesday, and I will someday in future speak of how due to SuperPed's preparedness a crisis was averted. I tend to have firework endings. Her with me, and my first chance of mothering is like a spray of cold water on my face. I am very sleep deprived. Apparently, wise birds said to me that I should sleep when the girl sleeps, but so far my body schedule and kid's schedule are haywire. I hope to be better adapted to this soon. It is tough for me to find net time as of now, and there are a couple of things I want to post online, since CBub's dates also passed by recently, but so far it does not seem to be happening. And I just want to say thanks. Even though I am craptastic at responding, I am reading off and on as I can manage.
