Where's my Colouring Book?

So, this colleague of mine got some cake (left-over) to the office today. It was her daughter's birthday yesterday.

Well, I got the cake.

Evening, when all of us, were collecting stuff to get packing to home, she started walking around the cabins, handing over gift-wrapped items to some of my colleagues. She came to the cabin right in front of mine, but skipped my cave.

She had colouring books(return gifts even though nobody from office was invited at home). I did not get it coz I do not have kids.

Home Running the Message?

I am stating this incident as a matter-of-fact, not as a matter-of-hurt.

I think she could have been a bit subtle about it. But what can be expected from a batch of uber-fertiles?

  2. There is not much that I can say to that. A stellar gesture from an 'uber-fertile.'

  4. Wow, she wins the miss-sensitivity award for the week. gah! subtlety is not a word in the normal fertile's vocab...

  5. I never cease to be amazed at the sheer unthinking stupidity of some "uber-fertiles" (excellent name, btw). Sometimes it seems like they go out of their way to slap you in the face, doesn't it?

Season...

With very limited time and access to the netz, I just want to declare that Lady Season is here. She arrived last Wednesday, and I will someday in future speak of how due to SuperPed's preparedness a crisis was averted. I tend to have firework endings. Her with me, and my first chance of mothering is like a spray of cold water on my face. I am very sleep deprived. Apparently, wise birds said to me that I should sleep when the girl sleeps, but so far my body schedule and kid's schedule are haywire. I hope to be better adapted to this soon. It is tough for me to find net time as of now, and there are a couple of things I want to post online, since CBub's dates also passed by recently, but so far it does not seem to be happening. And I just want to say thanks. Even though I am craptastic at responding, I am reading off and on as I can manage.
