Sharonvw gave me an award. And here’s what it is called –

What is expected is that I need to -
1) Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. 2) Show the 7 winners names and links on your blog, and leave a comment informing them that they were prized with “Honest Scrap.” Well, there’s no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon. 3) List at least 10 honest things about yourself.
Thank You so much, Sharon!
Blogs I pick –
Cassandra@Baby Smiling in Back Seat
Lindsay@The Steadfast Warrior
Brenda@Hope Springs Infertile
Polly@In 2 Me See
Another Dreamer@An Unwanted Path
Clio@Dancing with Gaia
Elana@Elana’s Musings
One-hit_Wonder@ (Mis)conceptions: An Infertility Blog
10 Honest things about myself –
1. As a teenager, I had braces on my teeth.
2. The orange comb that I use right now has been with me since I was 14 or 15.
3. Talking of footwear, I will always pick up comfort over style. High heels never make it to my list.
4. I am self-centred. I can’t handle anybody (underline anybody) coming too close to me.
5. I am slow. I always turned in my assignments in college on time…because I started earlier than the rest of my classmates. I walk real slow.
6. I hate to be rushed or told how to approach God. I am not ritualistic and unless, I am committed to ‘whatever’, I will not do it sincerely.
7. I had two near-death experiences within a single evening in Mumbai. That’s why I help strangers on the road. I am just repaying the debt.
8. Between class 6th and 9th, I flunked every single unit test and terminal exam in Mathematics, but I would always clear the finals in flying colours. The same pattern occurred in class 11th and 12th. I actually got my academic groove back as an undergraduate, partly because teachers were not breathing down my neck for stuff.
9. I write poems. It is not a hobby, just a mode of expression. I have not written a word of it since 2004.
10. I am not a ‘tidy’ person. Clothes will always end on the bed, unless stuffed haphazardly into the almirah.

#7 sounds like quite the incredible story! Thanks for the tag... ;) I'll have to get working on mine.
ReplyDeleteI agree, No. 7 sounds HECTIC!
ReplyDeletethanks for the tag!
ReplyDeletehow interesting that knowing that you are slow, you of course, started things earlier... that sure makes things easier for you then. What a pity you haven't written any poems in the past 5 years... i hope you go back to it at some point. :)
Please expand on #7, I am terribly curious. Thanks for the tag, I'll get get started on it :)
ReplyDeleteWe are wickedly alike!
ReplyDeleteTo everybody who got curious...
ReplyDeleteI may talk about #7 someday, but now is not the time for me yet.
If I ever do it, it would be more than likely on my other blog - Raves, Rants and Sidekicks!
