On that Path Again

I had a D and C on July 27th and God help me, coz I can’t forget how icky I felt. My hatred for that hospital loo, the smell of the consultation room, the needle-prick and drop-your-clothes-here just intensified that day. I was absolutely broken when I was out of the Anaesthesia. I can never describe how much I despised being poked, scraped and pricked. My doctor had planned an IUI for me this cycle. And had the plan panned on Tuesday (CD14, Aug 5). The follicle in my right ovary refused to rupture. My Serum Prolactin levels show that even though it fell in the normal range, the Prolactin level is on a higher side. Anyways, I was on a cocktail of Ubiphene, Nacfil, Fertibex, Cabgolin and Eudrin for this cycle. I was given an HCG injection on 3rd August. Even with the induction, no follicles were formed in the left ovary, which is perfectly free of any cysts. The fruit was borne in the right ovary (how ironic) which has a chocolate cyst and in spite of the HCG, the follicles in th...

Just an Update

So, I am trying out a new doctor. Last cycle was obviously a fizzler. She has recommended a Serum Prolactin and E2 LH test which I have dutifully applied myself to. Let us see, if the tests are normal. Otherwise, the only aspects that are being faulted in my case are endometriosis and cyst in the right ovary. My IgG and IgM results had been dubious and I have already run through a 6 month medicine regime for the same. I had a Laparoscopy in Jan this year. My cyst was removed but it wasted no time in recurring. Let's see what the next cycles bring.

To No Avail

I don't think you prayed enough for me... I am bleeding through. The pregnancy test is sitting cosily in the refrigerator. This time too it has to take its rest. But I have decided to not take any hormones or any other medicines atleast in the next cycle. My right ovary chocolate cyst has come back, but "Frankly my Dear, Now I don't give a damn".

Devil Vegetable?

I don't smoke, don't do drugs, don't booze..... I am such a saint that I do not even have a 'I-hate-this-vegetable' food quirk.... (My limited weaknesses include Soft Drinks (P.E.P.S.I.) and Non-vegetarian food....) So, when my doctor asked me to go off Potatoes completely, it has left me flummoxed. Though I have dropped it from my daily menu, how can the world's favourite vegetable be my bete noire? I have seen people with pathetic sense of balanced diet, producing children by the handful. And I got bowled over by a tub of carbohydrates? In India, people sleep by the roads, by the wells, by the trees, by the skyscrapers, by the huts, by the airports, by the railway platform, by the middle-of-nowhere and still have kids. And I sleep nowhere close to these places, yet my diet is one of the contributing factors(??).

I'm Back!

Yeps, I have returned back to normal WaitLand.....Duphaston, Susten and Folic Acid and like.... Let's see what this cycle brings through... I am dying to see if this IUI did bring in any results. What happened to ovum when it came free from the tubes... Wait and Watch....
